Applications
LUBRICANT VNII NP-260 GOST 19832-87 ball bearings used in high-speed (up to 60 000 min-1) in a temperature range from -50 to 180C. Used in high-power and high-speed gyroscopes power electric machines.
Advantages
- Grease VNII NP-260, it can provide a mechanism for operation at temperatures up to 60C, but only in cases where the engine power will be enough to the mechanism moved and was able to work a short time to soften the grease for by heating the bearing itself;
- In a number of NP-260 grease devices Institute provides a longer service life than VNII NP-228, due to a much lower volatility of its dispersion medium;
- It is recommended in those cases, as the lubricant VNII NP-228, in view of its worst low-temperature properties.
