Transformer oils
Description
Liquid WLN-2 is a product of a deep cleaning (sulfuric acid, or adsorption) maloparafinistoy oil. It is used as a standard hydrocarbon medium for the detection properties of the rubber and various rubber products.
Liquids or oils that act on samples of rubber, are determined by several marks – WLN-1, 2-WLN, WLN-3
.
Liquid WLN-2 is used for testing the properties of such products:
• different types of rubber;
• rubber products;
• rubberized single or double layer of fabric of various designs, based rubbers, one or both sides with a rubber coating a general or special purpose;
• membrane fabrics made based on technical fabrics of polyamide, coated with oil-resistant rubber based on butadiene rubber, etc.
Liquids are divided into the following types:
• nonporous – manufactured on the basis of a butadiene rubber, characterized by high resistance to abrasion, tensile strength is less than natural leather, but the elongation at break above; is water, does not swell, it is vapor impermeable and airtight for different liquids;
• porous (spongy is homogeneous and cellular) is performed using gas absorption through the rubber used for the manufacture of absorbers, puffs tread tire seats;
• reinforced – in the manufacture of which are introduced into the lining of metal grids to enhance its strength and flexibility; used for the production of automobile tires, conveyor belts, pipes;
• solid (ebonite) – has a high breakdown voltage and heat resistance;

• transparent – translucent, with a high content of natural rubber with high hardness and abrasion resistance;
• leather-like – made of rubber with a high content of styrene
