Description
Advantages
- polymethylsiloxane (PMS) – transparent, colorless, chemically inert and corrosion-resistant fluid. Are dissolved in aromatic and chlorinated hydrocarbons are not soluble in lower alcohols and water. Polymethylsilicone liquids have hydrophobicity, and good dielectric properties and damping are surfactants;
- Pour liquid below -60 ° C. Polymethylsilicone liquid can be used at operating temperatures from -50 to + 200 ° C. Liquids with a flash point below + 200 ° C are used in open systems only at temperatures not exceeding the flash point;
- Unlike mineral or synthetic oils, polymethylsiloxane fluid have excellent electrical insulation, defoaming and anti-adhesion properties.
Applications
