Description
Vacuum oil VM-6 – is well refined mineral oil used as the lubricating oil, and as a seal for reciprocating fore pumps. It used as the working fluid in the fore-vacuum reciprocating and rotary vane pumps. Oil VM-6 compared to BM-4 made oil has a narrower fractional composition, enhanced (3-4 fold) oxidative stability and moisture resistance, and less dependence of viscosity on temperature.
Applications
When using HMW-6 oil instead of BM-4 starting power the pump motor is reduced by about 30%, and the power consumed by the motor at a residual pressure is reduced to 10%.
